OUR SANCTUARY
Retired Horses & Permaculture

A Sanctuary for Horses, Land, and Life
Eden Farm is more than a place—it’s a vision of harmony between animals, nature, and people. Our sanctuary provides a safe haven for rescued horses, where they can heal, thrive, and live as naturally as possible. But our work doesn’t stop there. We are restoring the land itself, creating a regenerative ecosystem that nurtures all who call it home.
At the core of our approach is the paddock paradise system, a way of caring for horses that mirrors their natural movement in the wild. Instead of being confined, they roam along winding tracks, encouraging healthy hooves, strong bodies, and natural foraging behaviors. This system not only benefits their physical and emotional well-being but also integrates seamlessly with our permaculture food forest, a living, breathing ecosystem designed to regenerate the land.
The food forest is a carefully cultivated landscape of edible and medicinal plants, trees, and shrubs that feed not just us but also the horses, pollinators, and wildlife. It restores soil health, conserves water, and fosters biodiversity, creating a self-sustaining environment where every element has a role to play. Our horses, in turn, contribute by naturally fertilizing the land, spreading seeds, and maintaining ecological balance.
Eden Farm is a place of regeneration—for the land, for the animals, and for the deeper connection we all share with nature. If you’d like to support our mission, you can do so by DONATING below or purchasing our handcrafted creations at CASA EDEN, which directly fund the care of our animals and the growth of this living sanctuary.
